I'm extremely proud and excited to announce that TOO DOPE RADIO hit 20,000 downloads today.  I started this project as a creative outlet, a way to share the music that I really wanted to hear, and its humbling that so many of you have tuned in to listen.

Here's a real chilled out mix to get you through the drudgery of the work week.  I had conceptualized this one months ago but never really got around to wrapping it up and recording it.  Some big hits of yesteryear with a couple fresh tunes for good measure like the amazing Flosstradamus remix of US Royalty's Equestian.  I had the pleasure of playing alongside US Royalty a couple of weeks ago and was absolutely blown away by their live performance.  Definitely don't sleep on those guys. First things first, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to the Barbary.  The hardest working and most consistently innovative venue in Philadelphia.  I wanted to hit you off with a little piece of history while TDR v15 is brewing.

So, we're going to go back. Waaay back, to 2007.  Everyone in the club had sparks tongue, and Justice, MSTRKRFT, and Soulwax were causing riots on the dance floor.

This is the FIRST live mix I ever recorded and the set I played at the opening night of Barbary (11/19/07).

I had some like 10 year old Numark turntables with faulty grounds and the most basic mixer ever made.  No EQs just gain knobs and some crusty sliders.  (please pardon the levels, i didn't know any better)

This mix is seriously dense, TEPR, Black Ghosts, Bloody Beetroots, Chromeo, MSTRKRFT, Justice, LCD Soundsystem, even some LOUD Daft Punk edit i made. 

Its like little musical time capsule.
